This is a mural that depicts 37 SS Division patches of those that existed during The Third Reich and served besides the german army as an elite force moved by the national ideology.

The first man to compare the cheeks of a young woman to a rose was obviously a poet; the first to repeat it was possibly an idiot.

3rd column, 6th row was an Italian division, as you can clearly see by the Fasces.

3rd column, 7th row was an Dutch division. The symbol is the Wolfsangel, which has the same meaning to the Oriental Yin-Yang sign. The symbol was also used by the Dutch NSB (National Socialist Movement)

5th column, 5th row was a Hungarian division. The symbol is the Arrow Cross. It was a symbol used by the Hunagrian National Socialists (Arrow Cross Movement)

3rd column, 3rd row seems to be a Muslem divisions, because of the Turkish sword.

2nd column, 6th row probably was a mixed division, based on the two swords (one Turkish, one Western).

I don't know about the others. Check out Feldgrau.com ( [link] ) for more info. I'd look for myself, but I'm temprarily on smallband.

Ahhh thx alot for that Info...I think the mixed Division has to be the Bosnian Muslims. which also had a Croatian Brigade atached to it. (destroyed in Stalingrad)
